This week, the House of Representatives will vote on legislation to repeal much of ObamaCare’s burdensome taxes and mandates that the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office estimates will cost taxpayers $516 billion over the next ten years.
President Obama’s failed healthcare law has already had devastating effects on hard-working families and small businesses across the country. Recent reports reveal the nation’s top insurance providers are rapidly jumping ship and state-based exchanges are going bankrupt.
Wisconsin Alliance for Reform Communications Director Chris Martin released the following statement:
“While we are unable to go back in time to prevent President Obama and Senator Feingold from passing one of the most destructive tax increases in American history, this bill provides an opportunity to reduce the burden on taxpayers and small businesses. Without common-sense reform, ObamaCare will continue bankrupting our country and eliminating opportunity for future generations.”
